We’re also thrilled to share that Stephanie Onwenu will be leading the model-building session again this year—always a camp favorite!
The Michigan Chapter of ASLA and the City of Southfield are once again partnering to host the LTU Summer Program for high school students. It is a great opportunity to get introduced to the world of design at a low cost.
The 5 day camp is $100 and includes lunch. Studio sessions are led by local design professionals, giving students firsthand insight into the industry and real-world guidance.
LTU 2025 High School Summer Program July 14 -18. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Placemaking through Landscape Design
College of Architecture + Design
Landscape architects design parks, campuses, plazas, trails and more! In this hands-on design studio, you will have the opportunity to design your own unique space. You will be introduced to a variety of built projects from leading landscape architects and experience some of these spaces on campus, in Southfield, and Detroit. Participants will have fun learning design and leave with a certificate and unique t-shirt.
Registration is open until June 1st.
$100 registration fee includes lunch and field trip transportation.
