Design Position

Detroit Collaborative Design Center is seeking qualified candidates with a background in architecture and/or urban design or city planning. The Designer will be an integral part of the DCDC team, and they will be responsible for day-to-day development of project documents and deliverables. Applicants should be interested in working collaboratively with community stakeholders and other project partners, and experience with and/or exposure to community design is a plus. Additionally, they should be highly motivated, organized and self-directed. Candidates should be recent graduates with an undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture and/or urban design or city planning with 0-3 years of related work experience. Must be familiar with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
