The Michigan Chapter ASLA Foundation was created to provide scholarships, grants, and aid to students from historically underserved demographics pursuing a career in landscape architecture to further their educational endeavors.

2024 DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION SCHOLARSHIP
The Michigan Chapter ASLA Foundation is happy to announce that applications for the 2024 DEI Scholarship are now open.
Be of Black/African American, Hispanic, Alaskan Native, American Indian, Asian American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander descent.
Be a current undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited Landscape Architecture program in Michigan
Have attended a high school in, and graduated from, a high school in the State of Michigan. Submit a high school transcript or copy of your diploma.
Be an enrolled student when scholarship award is applied to tuition in the fall of 2024.
Resumé and cover letter.
College transcripts or a letter from the Academic Advisor stating your current GPA and that you are in good academic standing.
Essay that answers the following: "What inspired you to pursue landscape architecture?" (1,000 words max).
Two references. At least one reference shall include a college professor from the Landscape Architecture program in which the student is enrolled.
